Could Accidental Pricking Of An Unused Insulin Syringe Affect One’s Health?

My 2 n half years old son while playing accidentally pricked insulin syring while my father was about to inject to himself. Although no insulin was injected to my son just the needle got pricked. My dad has diabetes type 2 as well as b.p. I am a little bit worried. Please suggest.

An insulin syringe has a very small needle. These needles are usually harmless. They don't injure muscles, vessels, bones. So I don't think you need to worry about this incident.

Just watch that part for 1 day. If it shows Redness, swelling, painful then consult a doctor. Otherwise no need to worry.
