Could Implanon Cause Persistent Hormonal Acne On Neck And Chin?

about 6 months after getting an implanon birth control implant, I developed what I believe is hormonal acne on my neck and under my chin. I got the implant removed three months ago but the acne still persists. How long does it take for the side effects of implanon to wear off? Can I expect my hormones to return to normal and my acne to clear up?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, acne may not be due to IUD of course acne some time related with hormone changes but this is happening in teenage, you have not mentioned your age here, so acne could be due to some other reason too and it can be infection too, and it can be tried with oral "Tab Doxycycline 100 mg" once in day for 10 days and Erythromycin cream, hormone changes could be very less likely, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
I find this answer helpful
