Constipation has been an ongoing problem for most of my life, & after having acolonoscopy some years ago, my dr.said he thought I may have Crohn's Disease, however, Crohn's usually represents itself in abdominal pain & diarrhea. My son has severe Crohn's & never has a problem with constipation;just the opposite.My most recent colonoscopy in 2015 showed on sign of polyps. Just internal & external hemmorhoids. I refuse to take prescriptionmeds & my diet consists of plenty of fruits & vegetables. Occasionally I do revert to taking Milk of Magnesia which isn't especially helpful.
