Constantly Bloated, Have Cramps And Pain In Lower Abdomen. Discomfort In Chest Area. What Is Wrong ?

Hello, I am a 21 year old female. I have no previous major health problems.

Recently I have noticed I have been bloated constantly with no signs of relief, I have changed my diet to eat healthier and cut out snacking. I have also started to drink green tea often in the hope of relief but with no hope. It doesn't seem to be relieving at all, although I have lost weight I don't look like I have due to the bloated ness. This has been noticeable for a few weeks now but over the last few days, it has got worse, I have had cramps and pains in the lower abdomen and shooting pains in one side every now and again but it does go. I have also had Discomfort in my chest area below my ribs it feels bloated there too. I have also felt very heavy headed but dizzy and light headed at the same time and nauseous I have also had achy and heavy legs. I'm not sure what's wrong I just feel strange and not myself

Hello dear,

The symptoms as mentioned in your post can be attributed to increased gas formation in the stomach secondary to excess acid production.
Symptomatic relief can be obtained by intake of antacids like Pantoprazole (to be taken half an hour before food) & anti spasmodics like Dicyclomine preparation (to be taken after food).

If symptoms still persist, it will be better to consult a Gastroenterologist & get a proper physical examination.
Investigations like Endoscopy of upper gastrointestinal tract & Ultrasound scan of abdomen will be helpful in detecting any pathological cause for the symptoms.

Wishing a good health.
Take care.
