Concerned About The Height. Any Ways To Increase The Height?

Hello Sir,
I am very much worried about my height i am only 5'6 and thats pretty sad.My younger brother is 5'10 and i face lot of difficulties regarding my height. Are there any possible ways to increase my height atleast 2 inches??? I wanna grow atleast 5'8.PLEASE HELPP MEE !!!!

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Height is primarily determined by genetics though diet, exercise and illness can also effect a persons eventual height.

At the end of the long bones ( the bones in the legs and arms) there is an area which is involved in adding bone and therefore increasing length and height. At the end of adolescence and in some persons before , this area is no longer involved in adding bone and no further length is possible.

If you have passed adolescence then it would not be possible to add any further height unfortunately.

If you are still within adolescence there is a small chance that using a healthy diet and exercise might positively influence your height.
Exercises such as pilates and yoga that involve strenghtening core muscles and stretching may be helpful.
