Child Passing Oily And Mushy Poop, Beige, Brown Color. What Is Causing This?

My 28 month old son has had mushy poop since he was 10 months old. He had watery smelly poop at 10 months and vomiting and then ever since it has been oily and mushy 2-4 times a day, when its bad its upto 7 times aday. Sometimes it s beige in colour, sometimes it s gritty and other times its brown. What s going on? He s probably had no more than 10 formed bowel motions in 18 months!

Hello,

This usually due to the feeding habits, you can change it by giving him green salads a lot of fruits and vegetables and to keep away from junk food, also do a stool analysis to exclude any infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
