Child Burnt Tongue After Eating Hot Food. Medical Attention Needed?

My 2 year old daughter took a spoonful of hot (temperature) rice into her mouth and burned herself about 45 minutes ago. I had her spit it out and immediately gave her iced water to drink. She cried for about 2 minutes and then I gave her some chilled mashed strawberries which she ate right up and then went off to play, but I am still concerned about the severity of the burn. When the rice had cooled, she tried to take another spoonful, but she cried. I m not sure if it is because of the bad memory from earlier, or because of the sensation of the rice in her mouth on the burn. Do you feel that she needs medical attention at this point? She has not fussed since. Please let me know. Thank you

Hi
Thanks for your query.
Relax there is nothing to worry.
Minor burns due to hot food heals in couple of days.
Since she is active so relax.
I suggest you to give her soft bland diet.avoid hot or spicy food.
Give plenty of fluids.
Wishing your child good health
God bless..
