Checked BP And Noticed Irregular Heart Beat. Should I Be Concerned?

I have a 10 year old son, and he and I were playing around with an automatic blood pressure cuff and it said his b/p was 98/48. He s only about 55lbs or so and pretty short. Tiny little guy. I don t have exact measurements. Is that reading really low or is it normal for his age? Another thing. I noticed he has an irregular heartbeat...should I be concerned? Please get back to me and let me know. Thanks, Leah

Hi,
He is having low blood pressure but might be fluctuating.
It is better to get bp measured by your doctor to get correct idea about his BP.
Another thing you mentioned is having irregular heart beats, requires examination done by your doctor.
Consult your doctor and take his advice.
Ok and take care.
