Cause Of Increased Heart Rate After Climbing Stairs

After I climb the stairs to go to bed I get heart flip flops when I lay down. Why? I am overweight , non smoker. Walk 2 miles everyday. Had a cardiology workup a year ago and I was fine. Just get palps but less than 1 percent. Still this new thing at night when I go to bed worries me.
