Can Wet Walls Affect Health?

I have damp in my bedroom its all along the back wall & on the ceiling, my baby is 16 months old he sleeps in the bedroom every night & so do I. I have lived with this problem for 11 years. I would like to know what effect could this have on our health?

having damp in bed room is bad thing. if you are maintaining the proper cleanliness in the floor and other wall parts than you should not worry for it. but if you are not maintaining cleanliness than there is probelm. again having damp in the bedroom may cause the wooden part of your room to be grown by fungus. this fungus may be some type of mushroom or aspergillus. this fungus have spores which may be inhaled by us. you have baby which may inhale that spore. so having damp in your room is not good indication for your health.
