Can Weight Loss Lead To Lower Heart Rate?

I've just learned I have a resting heart rate of 48. I'm not an athlete and don't exercise regularly. I'm 55 and I've been on the Dukan diet since May and have lost 30 lbs. Can the weight loss cause a lower than normal heart rate? I have a physical every year and this is the first time the EKG showed a low rate. I still have about 20 more pounds to lose and would like to stay on the diet. But, I'm worried.

HI
Well come to HCM
reducing body weight with any mean may not cause heart rate to reduce but this could be sinus bradycardia,(This is normal condition) possibility of sick sinus syndrome need to be ruled out, if this is not detected in EKG then this is nothing to worry, if you do not have any clinical symptoms then no need to worry about this, have a nice day.
