Can Usage Of Montek-LC Cause Epileptic Seizures In A Child?
Sir,My child is 7 years old now. Now within 8 months, she got 3 episodes of seizure. Doctors diagnose that as Rolando epilepsy, though it is occurring nearly 30 min. after sleep. She took montek LC kid for 5 months continuously at her age of 5. Is this epilepsy is a side effect of montek lc kid? . Our doctor suggest not to take any medicine for the seizure, though it is not very frequently occurring. How to treat this? also is it curable?

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the grand mal seizure then it has to be treated with specific drugs but important is diagnosis, what the history given here it may not be suggestive of any seizure, better to get done the required tests like MRI and EEG hope this information helps.
