Can Undiluted Salvon Cause Skin Allergies?

hello sir , i am sanju and i met with an accident a few weeks ago.since then i am using savlon to clear the wounds and i have been using it without water. sir a few days ago i noticed some skin allergy ,some redness on my leg.so sir i want to know if this allergy is due to application of savlon directly as i have consumed 4 bottles of savlon since then.

Dear Sanju,

There is a possibility of allergy but more than allergy I think it can be infection. You may be having an infection there which can cause redness, pain, swelling and warmth. Are you using plasters/dressings over the wound? If so, are you changing regularly? If the area is sodden also, there will be redness and pain. Don't use excess of savlon. Instead go for an antiseptic powder and please visit your Doctor who can actually see the area and inform you better.
