Can Travelling During Pregnancy With Low Lying Placenta Is Safe?

I am Andal 25 yrs old and presently 22 week. Last week did anamoley scan and found low lying placenta (Lower margin is 1.3 cm from the internal os and grade 1 maturity. I am bit worried and needs to travel July 3 2011 ( by the time 26th week running) my native around 5 hrs journey in train. can u please advisible

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion the journey with low lying placenta is not advisable.Infact bed rest with no physical strain and intercourse is advisable.If the journey is inevitable then risk can be taken accepting whatever the result may be.Its not 100% that bleeding will happen but there are chances for bleeding.
