Can The Medication Of Aspirin Be Continued For Pain In The Hip Bone?

I have been having pain in my right hip bone for the last 6 months. I got the MRI and CT Scan of that area. And the doctors have suspected either a stress fracture of the femural neck or osteoid osteoma. I would like to know if I can continue taking aspirin to get relief from the pain. I do not want to undergo a surgery

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It the fractured segments are in line, conservative management will be required and surgery is not needed. In your cases immobilization and supportive measures will be enough.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
