Can The Healing Process After An Aortic Aneurysm Stent Surgery Be Accelerated?

I had a stent inserted into an aortic aneurism as a precautionary measure about a month ago. I was told that exercises (prescribed in detail) would help restore circulation quite soon. How long should I expect the rapid tiring of my legs while walking (with or without a cane) to disappear? Is there any way to speed the healing process?

Hi,

Aneurysms may lead to thrombus formation or aortic dissection leading to decreased peripheral blood supply. After repair it may take time to recover. You may be able to do many of your usual activities after 4 to 6 weeks. But you will probably need 2 to 3 months to fully recover.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
