Can Tanning Impact Adversely Newly Grafted Skin And Graft Donor Sites?

Hi,

I received third degree burns on my arm and back from a house fire in Nov of 09... I did get grafting done, and the donor sites were both my legs... What I want to know is, will I ever be able to tan again? Before the fire I tanned every summer, but I am afraid now with the new skin and the grafting sites if I tan I could cause myself to get cancer..

Also, if it is ok for me to tan, will the grafting site itself tan, or will it just stay the same color it is?

Any advice you can give me would be great, because the last thing I want to do is tan if it's going to cause me cancer... :)
