I m 58, female and I weigh 150lbs average and I m 5 3 . I was diagnosed with GADs over 20 years ago. I have been taking zoloft 50 mg. for over 15 years now. I have had little to no problems once I started the maintenance of Zoloft. I really don t think anyone could pay me to take zoloft away. I am currently taking care of my 84 year old mother and working a full time job. I am not married so I come home to myself. I m very healthy. 3 months ago, I had a dizzy spell with vertigo. Wasn t my first but I ve only had that vertigo feeling maybe 3, 4 times over the last 20 years. I went to see the doctor two days later. I got a flu shot and orders to get an MRI, a blood test to check thyroid and BMPs levels. A day later, my ears started ringing. Everything came back negative. I went to an ENT and he said my hearing was good for a 58 year old. High pitches were a little low but nothing to worry about. He mentioned maybe maybe the start of Meinerer s. He suggested but did not prescribe a water pill and low sodium diet. I came home told my general doctor who has been treating me since I was 24 years old and he prescribed a water pill. I took it for 5 days and stopped after losing 6 pounds. Now, I nauseas, upset stomach, loss of appitite, don t feel sleepy and my anxiety has returned. No panic attacks but unable to function. It s been two weeks now with little appetite and little sleep. I think it is an inner ear infection. But the anxiety is causing more problems than the infection. Any thoughts???Sitting at home worrying, instead of working and taking care of my mom. Everything stops when anxiety takes over. Please email me your response YYYY@YYYY
