Can Taking Lozar Be Safe To Control BP?

I am diabetic no.2 , and i also have BP. So i take : Atenolol & Lozar 25 as the following : Morning : Half Atenolol & half Lozar Evening :By the way my Doc,changed Lozar instead of Amilodipine 5. Ever since that change i feel my BP is not stable anymore ? Is that relevant ?

Hello welcome to HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Losartan (losar) is the drug of choice in case of hypertension on patients of diabetes. So, don't worry about it.

But atenolol and losartan is not a good combination as such. Amlodipine is a better combination with losartan.

So, if you don't have previous heart related issues ask your doctor to change atenolol to amlodipine.
