Can Syncope, Head And Neck Soreness Due To Head Injury Be Treated?

My friend hit her head an fainted we went to the hospital and try gave her an xray of her head cause he hit her head and had a sore head and neck , the back of her head said she feels like it s going to explode when she touches an lays on it . they gave er codein for the pain in the neck when needed . but what else can we do to help this ? she wants to sleep but her head hurts

she has to sleep on her side head , take pain killers ,, but most important to observe her for further 24 hs for any flag sign that she has to go to hospital for like ( syncope , convulsions , vomiting , abnormal behaviour ,.... ) .
