Can Surgery Fix A Loss Of Muscle Mass In The Hand?
MERRY CHRISTMAS DOCTOR, I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH LOSS OF MUSCLE MASS IN MY HAND BETWEEN MY THUMB & 1ST FINGER. I GOT A EMG DONE & WAS TOLD THAT I MIGHT NEED SURGERY OR PHYSICAL THERAPY. ( I WAS TOLD SURGERY) I HAVE A VERY WEAK LEFT HAND CAUSED BY WEAK NERVES OR SOMETHING. I WAS ASKED IF I FELL ON MY ELBOW OR REST MY ELBOW ALOT,& TRUCK DRIVERS GET THIS WHATEVER IT IS CALLED BECAUSE THEY ALWAYS REST THERE ELBOW ON THE CAR DOOR WHEN THEY DRIVE. I HAVE WEAK NERVES FROM MY ELBOW OR SOMETHING. CAN U TELL ME EXACTLY WHAT THIS IS CALLED & WHAT THEY ARE GONNA DO IN SURGERY IF I DECIDE TO GET THIS DONE. THANKS SINCERELY,PAMELA SWIES
