Can Supplement With L Arginine Be Taken Along With Hydrochlorothiazide?
I am currently takiing 20 mg of Hydrochlorothiazide daily for my high blood pressure, and I am considering adding some supplements to my diet for my prostate health. One of the supplements I have been researching contains L-Arginine. Are these safe to take together?
Hello there, L arginine has a mild vasodilator effect. That combined with the hydrochlorothiazide will actually help you control your blood pressure better. But be careful initially as it may lead you to be slightly dizzy when you change position say standing after sitting. If you find that you do not have any flushing or dizziness after a week or two then You can continue with it. Other than that there are no significant interactions. Hope this helps, Please feel free to address any further queries to me,
