Can Sugar Waxing Cause Hemorrhoids?

can sugar waxing or (hard wax) cause hemorrhoids? I had a brazilian wax a few days ago and woke up in pain in the middle of the night. The next morning I had a horrible purple grape looking hemorrhoid. The next day it was larger and another one was forming and the following day another one showed up while the other two continued to get larger and more painful.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Waxing with hard wax can lead to hematoma formation due to internal trauma caused by pulling action during waxing action.
However, it is unlikely to cause formation of hemorrhoids.
Hemorrhoids are caused by congestion of veins or engorged venous channels.
You need to consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment and thus management.

Thanks and take care
