Can Stress Lead To Anaphylaxis?

Can stress cause Anaphylactic? My son who is 30 broke out in hives and had to go to the emergency room. His plus was over 150, no wheezing, not enough oxygen and hives this time started at his neck spreading to his head. He had not ate anything or used any different products. He also, did this a couple of days ago but it was all over his legs.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can.

I dont htink that stress can causes such anaphylactic reaction for itself and it is more likely that there was some allergene as a trigger but stress may worsen the symptoms of allergic reactions.

I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time.
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
