Can Stomach Virus Cause Severe Abdominal Pain And Vomiting?
My mother had severe abdominal pains and was throwing up on Friday and went to the emergency room. The hospital ran tests and ruled out any blockages. She recently had a growth removed from her colon this past April and has been doing well. The hospital did not admit her but gave her pills to help prevent throwing up. She continues to thrown up whenever she drinks liquids. She has been eating applesauce, bananas. No diarrhea but no appetite for fear of throwing up. Could this be a stomach virus? Should I take her back to the doc who did the colon surgery? She has a doc appt. with her general doc on Wednesday. Help!
