My 21 year old son was hospitalized with bacterial pneumonia June 8th. He had 1 month visit with pulminary dr. Everything OK. He is now complaining of stomach pain and/or uncomfortable feeling after he eats. He went to ER yesterday. Told he was OK. BF he left he supposedly had a panic attack. That is what ER dr. said. His stomach started to cramp up, his arm and side of his face were number or tingling. ER dr. gave him a shot of some anti-anxiety drug and he said he felt better. He was able to leave after an hr. He put in call to pulmary fellow and was told it was probably a panic attack. Any answers?? He saw primary dr. last week about problem with stomach. Said he could be referred to gastronoligist.
