Can Sore Throat Be Caused By Lyme Disease?

I had a sore spot on the back of my head for a day or two then found a wood tick about 3 inches from the sore spot which was attached. I removed the tick the sore tissue went away in a couple three days, now the spot on my head where I removed the tick is also gone after about 5 days. I got a soar throat yesterday which I still have, should I be concerned of lyme disease?

Hi
after tick bite it takes bacteria to cause symptoms atleast 3 days. If you have sore in the same place where you removed tick then I think better you take a course of antibiotics preferably amoxycillin or doxycillin or azithromycin. Which will help from symptoms free also prevent Lyme disease complications...
Wish you a speedy recovery. thank you
