Can Someone Who Is Taking Azo Have False Positive Pregnancy Test?

Can someone who was taking Azo have a false positive. I had a 16 year old girl go to urgent care for a uti and they did a urine pregnancy test and said she was pregnant. When she came here and we did 2 tests to make sure and she had a negative test and she had finished taking her med.

Azo do not interfere with HCG(measured to test) level and for these reason false positive test can be by use not in the proper way of pregnancy test.
To eliminate your anxiety and to be safe that your daughter isnt pregnant you can send her to make a TVS.
