Can Shaking Of Hands Be A Side Effect Of Bupropion Hcl Intake?
Hope you can answer this question. I take Bupropion HCL SR 150 MG Tablet 2xday. I have been taking it for approximately 2 mos. I noticed that since taking it that once in a while my hands or finger start to shake. It's just for a few seconds and then passes. Could this be a side effect or could something else be going on. I am a female 63 years old.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Bupropion is an antidepressant medication used to treat major depressive disorder and seasonal affective disorder. Commonly reported side effects with use of bupropion include: insomnia, nausea, pharyngitis, weight loss, constipation, dizziness, headache and dryness of mouth. Nervousness and tremors are other side effects which can be possibly associated with the intake of this medication. Hence, you could be experiencing shaking of hands as its side effect. Kindly seek medical attention promptly if such symptoms become bothersome or increase in frequency. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
