Can Septoplasty Be Done When Suffering From Sinusitis?

Im getting a septoplasty, turbinectomy and left maxillary Cyst this coming monday. Im currently on Clyndamycin(10day course) 3x per day and Im on my 7th day. They prescribed it because my right sinus is completely blocked and they said I have an Infection. Is it safe to get the surgery if I have the infection?

Hello
No surgery should be done when one has an infection unless the surgery is an emergency type. Were I your surgeon, I would postpone the operation until the infection is cleared to prevent any postoperative infection from occurring
