Can Recovery Be Expected In A Partly Brain Dead Person?
My brother in law has been in a motorcycle accident and has been in an induced coma for 2,5 months.the neurologist says he is fair condition. His son who is power of attorney wants to take him off his feeding tube wed. The family has seen him and all agree that he has made considerable gains and feel he is starting to respond more. The problem is that we feel our brother should get one more ct scan before they take him off his feeding tube. The son who has power of attorney doesnt want to give him that chance and the family cant let him go knowing he still might have a chance. The son says that the doctors say he is brain dead but we are finding out otherwise. Part of his brain is dead from draining the fluid. Not all of his brain. Finacial greed seems to be the result of the power of attorneys goal and not the life of our brother. WHAT CAN WE DO????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
