Can Penicillin Cause Itching?
Hi, I've been prescribed penicillin (2 tablets 4times a day) today for tonsilitis. Taken 6 so far, 2 at 11.30, 2 at 4.30 and 2 and 9.30, and for the past 2 hours I've noticed small barely there itchy spots on the palms of my hands. Only hurt when I make a fist, should I be worried?

This is probably an allergic response to the antibiotic. You do not need to be worried as it is not serious. I suggest you see your doctor for an alternative antibiotic.
