Can Overdose Of 'lactare' To Promote Breast Feeding Harm The Baby?

God blessed us with a baby boy on march 19th. My boy is four months old.. I m feeding my baby and increase BF I m taking lactare granules twice... Some times i take lactare 3 to 4 times also.... Please let me know is there a chance of overdose of lactare ? Are there any side effects.... I m giving top milk ( lactogen)... I m using feeding bottle... Is it OK??? Plz guide...

Thanks for the query.
By now your son is almost 7 months old.
You can continue breast feeding. But now you do not need lactare.
No, it is not harmful.
It is preferable not to feed the child with bottle, but steel container which is easy to clean.
With patience he will learn soon to take top liquids from container (initially spillage is expected).
This is best time to start weaning on solid food as mother's milk is not sufficient for him.
For this you may consider consulting a pediatrician.
