Can Nosebleed Happen Due To Glasses Placed Tightly Around The Nasal Bridge?

It s probably a coincidence but ever since I got new glasses that are pretty tight around the bridge of my nose, I ve started to get a lot of nosebleeds. I ve had two today alone when normally they re pretty spaced out between months. I was wondering if tight glasses can cause nosebleeds?

Hi,

A nosebleed can occur due to many causes like trauma, picking the nose, bleeding disorders, or any abnormal blood vessels. It is very rare although possible for nose bleed secondary to tight glasses if they are causing any trauma to nose. However, you need to see your doctor to rule out other causes of a nosebleed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
