Can Multivitamins Be Taken Along With Calcium And Magnesium Supplement?

I take the following vitamins and was wondering if there is anything I should take out. Complete Multivitamin women 50+, Calcium 12 mg, C 1000 mg w/Rose Hips, E 800 IU, Biotin 500 mch=g and D3 1000 IU. and Magnesium 400 mg. I was wondering if the above is okay together and if I should add turmeric Curcumin for joint pain relief?

Hi

Greetings from HealthcareMagic!

It is very nice to see your knowledge about multivitamins as many people use them without knowing their composition. Multivitamins are good women above 50 years of age. But there are certain limitations which you should keep in mind.
There are two types
1) Water soluble vitamins and
2) Fat soluble vitamins water soluble vitamins (B-Complex vitamins and Vit-C) can be taken in excess as they will be soluble in water and eliminated in urine. But fat soluble vitamins (Vit A, D, E, K) should be taken carefully as they will be soluble in fat and accumulates in our body. Calcium and magnesium may also accumulate.
So it is always advised to eat different fresh vegetables and fruits which contain all vitamins and minerals. So it is advised to reduce the doses of fat soluble vitamins.
For your present condition, Turmeric Curcumin with Bioperin helps you in joint pain relief.

Hope you can understand all the aspects and act according to that.

Take Care!
