Can Mood Swings In A Child Be A Side Effect Of Cetirizine Syrup?
My 3&1\2 year old grandson was prescribed cetirizine syrup ,1 tsp once a day. He has been extremely moody with fits of temper and hysteria, very uncommon for him,but he experienced something similar with montalucast( singular) last year.on top of this it doesn t seem to help any of his allergy symptoms... Could this be a side effect or possible sensitivity?

Although rare but cetrizine can do this. This varies person to person.
Montelukast comes in combination with levocetrizine which may also do this
