Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I m 59 and 2 years ago I was SO cold all the time I stopped my hormones and that helped. Now I am hot almost all the time. I keep my bedroom cold and still am in and out of the covers all night and find myself sweating and hot during the day. Today I saw my gynecologist and she said unlikely to be menopause. I m also terribly thirsty (I drink probably 10 16 oz bottles of water a day). My blood sugar tests high normal. My gyn. said maybe thyroid. Does that sound right?
