Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello Doctor i am a 22 years old male. I have been experiencing tremors in my hands specially index and little finger when stretched , and also when i bring the fingers closer to each other they shake involuntarily. I masturbate but not a lot (at most twice a week) however there was a time in my teens when i used to masturbate a lot (2- 3 times a day). Could this be connected to masturbation or essential tremor? since i have tremors in other body parts as well which really get worse in some situations like fatigue, under pressure etc. I am getting worried lately since it has now started interfering with my daily activities, such as using a laptop i cant keep my hands static when not typing, and when typing i also make certain mistakes when highly nervous in some situations.
It is not related to masturbation. You can wait for few week for spontaneous recovery: Avoid unwanted anxiety. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
