Can Lens Replacement Eye Surgery Be Done In Patient With Astigmatism?
i am 49 years old with eye that are long sighted with astigmatism and wanted to have lens replacement eye surgery.One Dr said yes no problem he can do it and another said no way it is still an operation and with out cataract(which i dont have)he would not operate.Bit confused!!

refraction is to be done and best posible corection can be given in your case lens replacement is not indicated. in its place contact lens can be tryed opinion can be taken for refractive surgery and if posible it can be tryed. it will be better then lens replacement
