Can Ischemic Colitis Cause Facial Heat, Eye Redness And Urgent Bowel Movements?

my face got really hot and red and even the whites of my eyes were red. I felt also that I needed to have a bowel movement and had two back to back. Then I went and sat down and the heat and redness subsided. I have been diagnosed with ischemic colitis. Is this what caused the red/hot face episode

Ischemic colitis predominetly involve bowel where symptoms are like urgency to go defecation,abdominal pain, blood n stool etc.
Facial flushing, conjunctival redness are not directly because of ischemic colitis rather it is associated with it.
It can be because of viral infection.
Sometimes it can be allergic.While passing bowel movement excess stress also can read to panic attack and facial flushing.
Maintain you proper nutrition with stoppage of smoking.
Drink more water.And if symptoms worsen immediately consult doctor.
