Can I Take Contraceptive Pills Despite Having Missed Periods Post Delivery?

Hi I want to ask if I can use a contraceptive pills even I am not yet having period after delivery? Im in my 13 moths and 3 weeks, still breast feeding but I dont have period yet, my husband is coming so I want to use birth control pills, please guide accordingly. Thank you.

Thanks for using HCM, I understand your concern and will try to give you my medical advice, I think you can take the contraceptive pills in the regular basis, although the breast feeding is a natural contraceptive ( that the cause you don't have period yet ) but is effective 100% if is the ONLY way you are using to feeding your baby and I suppose for your baby age ( 13 months) that you are combining with others food, I recommend you evaluate with your partner different contraceptive methods, just be aware about the side effects of those pills.
