hi,
I am having severe dry cough since 1 week and i m 14 weeks pregnant as well .my gp told me its viral but now i am bringing flame which is yellow in color and sticky yellow discharge from my eyes. can i take any antibiotic now. i cant sleep whole night because of this dry cough. can you please advise me?

It is advisable not to take any medicine during first trimester of pregnancy unless it is must.
But now as you are in second trimester you can take certain antibiotic as many a time having any infection during pregnancy is also not proper and it should be treated.
After consulting your Obst.she might prescribe antibiotic medicine safe during pregnancy.
