Can Hydrocodone Acetaminophen And Aleve Be Taken Together For Nerve Pain?

I am taking hydrocodone acetaminophen 5-325MG for severe back and nerve pain. Can I also take Aleve 220 milligrams with it to help relieve the pain. Sometimes this does not relieve the pain so I take Tylenol 500 milligram with two Ibuprofen 200 milligrams 6-8 hours after my original pills that I m prescribed. Is this safe or am I using too many different medications together?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you should not take all these medications all together but better take one and the right dosage. Take Ibuprofen or Naproxen or Oxycodone. Take it every 4 hours. Don't mix all these drugs together.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
