Can Hormonal Back Up Birth Control Be Taken After Eating Amethia Lo?
Hi I ve been on birth control for a few years now but just recently started taking a new birth control amethia lo. I just took my second pill today. The directions told me to use back up birth control for the first 7 days of my new pill and the condom had broke. I went and got an emergency contraceptive and took it but as I was reading online I read that I shouldn t have taken a hormonal back up birth control (but my directions for my pill doesn t say that). I m not sure if I made a mistake or what I should do from this point on. Do I need to is back up birth control until I get my period or should I just use back up for the rest of the seven days?

If you were on regular pills, and had taken emergency pill, you just not to worry a lot. Just miss you regular pill on this day (when u took the back up) and continue it as routinely. No need to take any more backup pills.
