Can High Sugar Levels Cause Extreme Hot Flashes And Sweats?

I have diabetes and sugar has been high - under 340 new medicine to get back on track. But I have started have major hot flashes (serious) hair is wet, dripping off face and this happens anytme of the day, but not at night. Will high sugar levels make me sweat

Usually low sugar level can cause sweating and flushes. The other cause can be High thyroid levels.
