Can High BP Cause Hot Flushes?

Can high blood pressure affect hot flashes? I am on a hormone therapy treatment for the flashes and it was under control. I have noticed recently a few more flashes. I went to a clinic recently for a virus and my BP was 140/92 - which I know is high.
