Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

First of all, let me assure you that heel swelling and burning is not related to your habit of eating raw rice. Most likely you are having Plantar Fasciitis.

Start painkillers, local heat therapy and soft footwear. If you do not feel any improvement in 2-3 weeks, go for an orthopaedic consultation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Gopal Goel, Orthopaedic Surgeon
