Can Heating Pads Be Used For The Treatment Of Constipation?

Have tried three treatments of Miralax with no results yet. Would a heating pad maybe help? If so, what is best way to use it. On your stomach or on your back? I have had other short bouts of constipation and with Miralax and foods I have been able to have a bowel movement. Right now it makes my lower back ache at times.
