Can Garlic Supplement Be Taken To Lower Cholesterol Levels?

Hi, I m Mala. Recently my bold test shows that low count good cholesterol and high count of bad cholesterol. My doctor said I don t need any medication right now. I am thinking of adding garlic pill supplement? do you think this is a good idea? How many mg should I take per day?

Garlic
as well garlic is concerned regarding your hypercholestrolemia garlic can be used in CAD,cancer,H.pylori infection,hyperlipidemia,HTN
it is modestly effecting in lowering serum cholestrol level.
but may be used with caution of you are takning analgesic like ibuprofen,ketoprofen,meloxicam,piroxicam or diclofenic it may interfare and cause interaction with these medicines
as well as dosage is concerend
standridized extract
300-400 mg po TDS
aged extract
600-7000mg po per day
Fresh
4g aprox 1clove po per day.
