Can Fractured Tooth Lead To Swelling Of Face?

I have a fracture tooth and went to the emergency twice. The second time my right side of my face is swollen. Doctor gave me penicillin and pain meds. Im home and my face is still getting swollen. Pain med isnt working and penciline still not working. I go to the clinic earl. Im in allot of pain

I really appreciate your concern, Penicillin is not anti-inflammatory drug but this is antibiotic and this wont work in inflammation, for this you need to treat the inflammatory condition with Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg three times in day, hope this information helps, take care.
